Towards the south
of Pune is the village of Sant Changdev called Narayanpur. Narayanpur is
famous for the Datta temple. Pilgrims visiting here worship the old 'Audambar' tree. There is a Narayaneshwar temple. The sculptors in the temple are of the Yadav era. To reach Narayanpur one has to go via Dive Ghat and Saswad. Purandar fort is nearby to Narayanpur. The Purandar Valley is a beauty to watch. In spite of the rough roads towards the temple, the journey is enjoyable because of the lovely nature. |
