He is the Dean & Director at NIEM. He has a rare blend of expertise in Event Management & Teaching and hence is a real expert in Training in this field

Prof. Cyrus Gonda B.Com, MHRDM, HAFT (Hotel Adm. & Food Technology) with distinction.
He is a certified Auditor for ISO 9000 & 14000, certified Quality Team facilitator for ODI UK , Life Member of ENSA and Banking Management Association. He teaches at various Management Institutes, Zee Education of IITC, Naval Institute of Technology, Sophia Polytechnic and various other colleges.

Prof. Nisar Merchant is B.Com , C.A.
He is a consultant at ShowBiz India P. Ltd. and Karmali & Co. He is a member of All India Management Association, Asia Academy of Management and has 11 years experience in Advertising field, and also has designed and directed Events.

Prof. Kalim Khan Deputy Director of Rizvi Institute of Management is BE &MMS. Conducts training programs in Marketing, Productions and Quantities training.

Prof. Seema Mahajan is a highly qualified Marketing & Ad. Teacher. She is a faculty member of NMIMS and also for ZED education. She has worked for major Ad agencies and has associated in the making of a number of Ad films.

Prof Daryl Suchita Sr. Manager at Lintas, Mudras, Indian Express and Wizcraft. He is now Sr. Manager at 360 Degree Times Event Co.

These in-house events give NIEM students a real edge with on hands event experience on huge events which makes the event organizational skills of NTEM students unchallenged in the country. This year NIEM student did the prestigious Mr. & Ms. University – a mega national level event which taught only NIEM students how to organize a live mega event, as Mr. & Ms. University is the first event in the world organized by a college to teach its students to learn a mega live event. With all this rich experience NIEM students get easily placed and many form their own successful event management companies.

Tie – Ups

It has tie ups and memberships of reputed organizations like CII, EMAI, FICCI, Ad Club and is the only one in the country to be recognized by the International Special Events Society (ISES) and International Festival and Events Association (IFEA), also the only one to teach international events. It is the only institute in India to appear on Foreign website for world rankings in Events.

Course Material :
Course material has been compiled after 4 years of authentic research in event management on the guidelines of the course of the George Washington University – USA. It has been modified for Indian conditions by Event Professionals across India.

NIEM is the first institute to have books published on various aspects of Event Management as a course by Vikas Publishers. Books are available at leading bookstores.

Library :
In addition to published material NIEM also offers International reference material through their In- House Libraries.

It is the only one in India to have an Event Research cell called NIEM’s Hilla Bhiwandiwalla Event Research Centre.

Placement

We offer strong placements guidance and help. Our students have been placed at various Organizations, Corporate World, Event Management Companies, Ad Agencies, Hotels and Airlines etc. We are able to place about 70% of the students enrolled every year.
