Therefore, we have to engage in
activities that will evoke divine
consciousness. This is possible only by
hearing and chanting the divine
activities of the Supreme Lord.
Human life is simply awarded to living
entity so that he can realize his
spiritual identity and his permanent
source of happiness.
Temple means a shelter for spiritual
education. People should come, they
should learn what is spiritual life,
what is God, what is my relationship
with God. That is a temple. |

Srila Prabhupada, when he went to
America in 1965 at the age of 69 years,
formed the society called the
International Society for Krishna
Consciousness (1SKCON) and within a
short period of 12 years, he established
108 ISKCON temples around the world.
Today, ISKCON has about 400 centers
around the world, with a worldwide
congregation in lacs, from all walks of

started the construction of New Vedic cultural Centre at
Pune in a four acre land on Katraj-Kondwa Bypass Road.
The mission and vision for this upcoming New Vedic
Cultural Centre is as follows. |

THIS PROJECT : |
Building
a devotional community that inspires the visitors as one
big family of members who posses love, care, concern,
trust and respect for one another that comes as an
outgrowth of one's devotion to the supreme Lord.
Offering the visitors an experience of their rich Vedic
Cultural heritage of India through Deity Worship,
diorama shows, dance, drama, discourses, music, art,
sculpture, etc. and abundant opportunity for the
individuals to express their devotion and service to God
through their talents. |

Offering
Education and training in the sublime wisdom and
practical application of Vedas in the modern times, to
bring out the best talents.
from the visitors (children, youth, corporate, families
and senior citizens both men and women), through
seminars, courses, gatherings, camps, Meditation
techniques, Multimedia theatre display, etc.
In the New Vedic Cultural Centre we will be installing
the Deities of Sri Sri Radha Vrindavanchandra, Sri Sri
Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra, Sri Sri Gaur Nitai and
Sri Balaji. This temple will be like a university to
enlighten the visitors and like a happy home that will
bringforth unlimited bliss. Keeping in view the need of
modern day people, we want to create facilities like
seminar halls, multimedia theatre, diaroma shows for the
service of children, youth, corporate, and family
visitors. We want to give the unique privilege of
creating these facilities to many fortunate souls like
you.
We do hope that you will certainly like to encourage us
in this holy endeavor. |

where the eternal message of lord Krishna can be
distributed to everyone for their highest
welfare.
The battle of Kurukshetra was a dharma yuddha.
Lord Krishna chose the Pandavas to reinstate
dharma and destroy adharma. Although Pandavas
were five and Kaurvas were hundred, still
Pandavas emerged victorious, because they fought
for the sake of Dharma and Lord Krishna, father
of all Dharma principles was also on their side.
Just as Arjun was chosen by the Lord to carry
out this great task, you have been chosen by the
Lord to have the privilege of participating in
this project.
And the benefit you get by serving Krishna is
eternal and everlasting. It cannot be taken away
even when all other material things are removed
from our possession by time. |
