Some of his One-Act-Plays The thing which took Pu La to the pinnacle of popularity is his one -act-shows. ' Batatyachi Chal ' which was based on his own book ' Batatyachi Chal ' was his first one act play which was a roaring success. Pu La provided able accompaniment on harmonium to several renowned vocalists like Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, the late Vasantrao Deshpande, and Mallikarjun Mansoor.He took lessons in harmonium from Dattopant Rajopadhye at Bhaskar Sangeetalay.With the knowledge of music,Pu La also gave musical hits from devotion songs like '`Indrayani kathi,' to natyageet , to songs for children such as ' Nach Re Mora'.His harmonium cassettes became a part of his household. |
