Shefali Lahoti finds no
limit to her Success. She has won more than 110 coveted trophies/ awards
& has staged & directed number of solo & group award- winning
performances not only local & state but also national &
international level .
Some of her major Achievements
are:
At the age of 16 was
selected on all India basis as the "Sole Cultural Ambassador of
India" to attend "The Hugh O'Brian World Leadership
Congress" held at Chicago, U.S.A. in 1991. Has been
selected under "The Rotary International Youth Exchange"
program for one year study tour to England for the year 1993-94 and
again to U.S.A. for the year 1994-95. Has been
selected by The International Association of Lions Club for the
"International Youth Exchange Camp" at Finland in
1999. Represented
India for Cultural Exchange Program at "Kawasaki City
Festival" in Japan in 1996. Has been
selected to attend the " International Summer Conference "
held in Oxford, UK by the English Speaking Union. Performed
Cultural Dance Programs along with the Academy artists in USA,
Switzerland and Germany. Also given dance performances during her tour
to Japan, UK, Finland,
etc. Represented
Maharashtra State as a 'Cultural Ambassador' to attend the
"22 nd Nehru Balsangh National Integration Camp"
held at Delhi in 1993.
Besides all her achievements,
she is also a founder, creative thinker, promoter, choreographer & the
leading artist behind the successes of Shefali Lahoti's cultural
Academy, Pune, India.It was established in 1994 with the objective of
innovation through assimilation of various dance styles, Musical
traditions, and different media presentatio0ns (e.g . cultural Dance programs,
Fashion Shows, & other stage events. The Academy not only
imparts training in Pune classical Kathak dance but also provides an
opportunity to learn combination/ Rap styles of dance & and a variety
of fashion presentations.
The Academy works through
its four major wings namely, "Kalashram" (The training and
education wing), "Kalasampad" (The artist promotion wing),
"Kalajagruti" (The research and creation wing), "Kalaharmony"
(The performance Group) .
We as a puneties will
always be proud of Shefali Lahoti for making her image popular not only in
our city or country but throughout the world. People who see her
