| As a sister (You and your bro/sis):
This is a very special bond where you discuss practically any thing under the
sun. If you have a brother at home you certainly feel secured as he is your
support whether you are in college or walking in your neighborhood. If you have
a sister you have endless stories to tell.
But siblings always do not get along well there are instances when they just
cannot stand each other. The problem here is when either of the two try to
impose themselves on the other if a brother doesn't want her sis to have male
friends at college she has to make it sure that she doesn't interact with any
males. The big daddy syndrome as we know it. Well if the brother has this
shallow mentality where he thinks a girl and a boy if they talk they talk
nothing else but love and dating. If this is your case do talk with him and
clear his misconception. Tell him like you even i need to have a space to
breathe. Even I know what our cultural values prohibit me to do. If you can have
a normal relation with the female colleagues at work place or in college, I am
a human being too I just can't refuse to talk with a classmate or a colleague
just because he is of opposite sex.
Sometimes inter sibling rivalry also creates havoc for the parents and for
yourself. Here one sis is envious of the other this can be the worst thing you
can do with your sis. You both are children of the same parents instead of being
close friends you invite a third person to sneak in between you.
This can be the other way round when sisters elder in age to their brothers tend
to boss around with them. so always have a cool temperament love your sister or
brother, treat them as a friend not as a foe you will be surprised at the love
and support you get even if you think that they do not seem to respond in
