Shri Nandu Joshi has been felicitated by honoring him with a Medal as the ' Best Blood Donation Camp Organiser ' by Mayor of  Pune Late Mr. Ali Somjee on 15 th August 1994.

He has worked also in other areas than just Blood Donation.  Every year Shri Nandu Joshi organises Health Camp, Family Welfare Camp and Blood Donation Camp through Sasoon Hospital.  He has always been trying to Popularise the Family Welfare Programe.

       Besides this, he is been helping the patients in Sasoon Hospitals in various ways. He distributes Fruits amoung the patients, provide free medicine to patients, and many more of this kind. To make it easy for the patients to know the departments in Sasoon Hospital Shree Nandu Joshi has given information boards in each ward. This has made it convenient for the patients to know each department.

      He has been awarded as the ' Best Blood Donation Camp Organiser ' for the years 1990-91, 1991-92, 1992-93, 1993-94, 1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97 and 1997-98. For the years 1996-97 and 1997-98 Shri Nandu Joshi has been awarded as the ' Best Blood Donation Camp Organiser ' by B.J. Medical College and Sasoon Regional Blood Bank, Dr. Mrudula Phadke Adhisthan honored him by giving a Medal.
