Rekha was born and brought up in Pune itself. She did her schooling from St. Joseph Pashan and completed her graduation from Vidhya Bhavan in Model colony. Apart from being a house wife, she practices Fengshui since last 3 year and takes no charges for consultancy. She started reading Fengshui books merely out of curiosity, to know how one can benefit by changing the way we sit, sleep, work or by placing a few symbolic Fengshui cures in the house/office.
After reading a few books, she wondered if just by readjusting the placement of furniture and applying the right colors or facing particular directions one could sort out one's life.
She thought she had her life well sorted out already. But then on second thoughts she applied some Fengshui cures to her house and she actually saw changes and opportunities coming her way.
When friends or anyone from the family would mention the problems they were going through, she would suggest a few fengshui cures (she had read about) and it would work for them, that's when she got serious about Fengshui.
She found Fengshui to be a very interesting topic/subject, so she read a lot of books as she was making a new house and wanted to place furniture according to fengshui guidelines.
When she learnt that the "World Renowned Fengshui Expert 'Lillian Too' was teaching the Masters Practioners Course, in Malaysia, she knew she had to do the course. There they were given case studies in which she along with her group stood first and won the first prize.
She would recommend that everyone must follow fengshui guidelines to benefit from it, to improve health, attain wealth, prosperity, fame, good relationships, increase productivity and efficiency. Fengshui helps you to harmonize the energies of the universe in your living space. For example: When you are sailing in a boat its definitely tougher sailing against the waves then sailing with the waves. That's what Fengshui does, helps you to flow with the energies of the universe.
Regarding other consultants Mrs. Rekha says ,"while good fengshui consultants offer genuine knowledge, unscrupulous people who have either done crash courses or have just read books, whose only intention is to cash in on people's ignorance, provide false information, which can adversely affect the well being of the people. You must understand that Fengshui is a very very deep study and cannot be incorporated just by reading books, as they can be misleading/or provide with incomplete, knowledge. The difference between getting your house or office audited by a professional and a quack is the same as having your health diagnosed by a medically qualified professional or a quack."
Its is her sincere request to all who are interested in getting their houses or offices audited (using the benefits of Fengshui) to verify the credentials of the practioner (Ask for the certification and the degree of knowledge) they possess, as also the school (Flying stars, eight mansions etc........of practice that they follow). After all would you rather have your surgery performed by a quack or a professional?? The quack would definitely charge you less, and you know what you are getting. In other words you pay for what you get.
